Assessing blue carbon on DoD installations
Luke, Bella and Dan just finished an assessment of greenhouse gas fluxes from soils and trees for two Department of Defense installations in Florida, as part of a larger collaborative project funded by SERDP. The full mangrove carbon budget is being assessed with collaborators from the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, US Geological Survey and US Fish and Wildlife Service. Results coming soon!
